Frankincense Resinoid Essential Oil is a concentrated aromatic extract of frankincense resin used in perfumery and fragrance formulation. Unlike steam-distilled frankincense essential oil, a resinoid is produced by solvent extraction of the resin, giving a deeper, heavier and more fixative aromatic profile.

How to Use

Resinoid vs Essential Oil

Frankincense essential oil is typically obtained by steam distillation of the resin. Frankincense resinoid is a different perfumery material produced by solvent extraction, so its composition, texture and odor profile are not the same as a steam-distilled essential oil.
